This sensor allows the user to communicate with the vehicle and viceversa.

Through the use of an acoustic modem it is possible to establish a wireless communication between

the vehicle and the user.

This connection allow the transmission of basic data and enable the possibility of giving orders to

the AUV remotely.

 

The device is equipped with an USBL as well: the USBL allows the transmittion underwater

coordinates of the equipped vehicle in relation the boat equipped with an appropriate transceiver.
